New chapter of American history: Kamala became the first woman Vice President of America with promise of Unity
Joseph R. Biden Jr. ie Joe Biden became the oldest
president in American history on Wednesday night. He is 78 years old. Kamala
Devi Harris was also sworn in as the Vice President. Kamala Harris, 56, created
history with this. She is the first woman, black and vice-president of India.
Biden was sworn in 11 minutes before the scheduled time
in Capitol Hill, an inaugural ceremony held in the US Parliament complex. He
took the oath by laying hands on the 128-year-old Bible and became the 46th
president of the United States. Just 14 days ago, violence in Capitol Hill was
also mentioned in Biden's speech. He gave a speech of 2381 words in 22 minutes.
Used the terms 12 times Democracy, 9 times Unity, 5 times Disagreement and 3
times Fear.
3 important things about Biden's speech
1. Some people thought that they would silence us by
voice
Biden said - Just a few days ago, an attempt was made
to shake the foundation of Parliament through violence. These people thought
that they would silence our will power through violence, stop democracy, and
chase us from this land. but that did not happen. This will not happen. This
will not happen today, nor will it happen tomorrow. Will never be.
2. The matter of unity seems foolish to some people
The President said- Maybe when I talk of unity, some
people may think this foolish fantasy these days, but I know that the forces
dividing us have become very strong. Peace will not come without unity. Without
it, there will be no progress. We have once again learned that democracy is
precious and fragile, but democracy prevails here.
Once
women used to demand the right to vote, today Kamla is the Vice President
Biden said - When such a swearing ceremony took place
108 years ago, thousands of protesters tried to stop the path of brave women
demanding Right to vote. Today we see that a woman has been sworn in for the
National Office. This is Vice President Kamala Harris.
The
longest speech was in 1841
In 1793, the first President George Washington gave a speech of just 135 words. William Henry Harrison took 1 hour 45 minutes in his speech in 1841 and spoke 8445 words. Harrison had pneumonia when he gave a speech without a hat and coat in the fierce cold and died a month after becoming president.
