The announcement gave by the Finance Ministry said that the GST assortment in October 2020 was 10% higher than a similar period a year sooner. The GST assortment remained at Rs 95,379 crore in a similar period a year prior in October 2019. The announcement said that because of stagnation of monetary movement because of Kovid-19, the GST assortment had come down to Rs 1 lakh crore.
